Every nonprofit needs different things from an evaluation program. Some of the evaluation services we offer are:

Evaluation Assessment — Are you already doing some evaluation? Receive a review of your current organizational evaluation efforts, with a report on what you are doing well, and areas of improvement. This can be either internally facing or external. An external report will be shareable with funders, partners, and board, to demonstrate that you have been independently reviewed.

Grant-specific Evaluations — Many grants require independent evaluation of their efficacy. Writing us in as your evaluation consultant on the grant application will strengthen your case, and starting with an evaluation plan will make the evaluation most effective. But it’s never too late to start evaluation. If you already have a grant, we can help you evaluate it on the fly to help you improve your implementation and tell the story of impact.

Data Analysis — You’re probably already tracking data on your programs. You may be sitting on a treasure trove of data that just needs a trained analyst to find the key information that will help you make better decisions. We can handle quantitative and qualitative data, and can mine giant data sets. But most importantly, we can translate it into clear language for those who may not speak data fluently.

Dashboards and KPI — Do you want to be able to see the health of your programs in an instant? We partner with you to identify the Key Performance Indicators for your organization and then generate dashboards that show you them in an easy to understand format. Best of all, we can train your staff on how to update them, building self-sufficiency in the organization.

Building a Culture of Evaluation — No one gets into nonprofit work because they want to work with data all day (even us!). So while your team may understand data is important, most people aren’t excited about it. We can work with your staff to help them see the connections between the data you need and the work they do, and to build a culture where data and evaluation are seen as an important complement to your program work, not a nuisance.
